This is the 6th page my new sew quiet book for my toddler. On this page we are dressing the doll. It is great for a simple introduction with only 2 outfits.
Still need to make the quiet book? Here is the how to make a no sew quiet book tutorial.
Download and print your person template here.
First cut your person out on some skin color felt. I used a normal school glue stick to stick the paper on the felt for cutting as it peels of very well but still sticks enough for me to cut out.
Then cut off the head, hands and feet to use on separate colors. Now use the main body to cut out a dress, shirt and pants.
Use the head to cut hair out and the feet for shoes. Glue down the body with hair and shoes and draw a face on with a black marker.
Cut a long bit to resemble a hanging rack and add velcro below it (the one with the hook side) to hold the clothing on the opposite page.

Hi! Thanks, it’s lovely. Just one question, how does the clothes stick to the person if there’s no velcro on the person itself? Thanks!
Nicolette Roux says
because it is felt on felt they are do kind of stick to each other but if you want a really good stick I suggest also adding a bit of velcro there.

So you just put a little bit of velcro on the back of the felt pieces? Such a sweet idea.

I made this for our quiet book…..my girls decided the person needed a belly button…and I had to make underpants for the person too.
