This quick and easy fine motor busy bag is great to pull out for a bit of peace and quiet!
Bonus, it is super easy to make too.
I recently found these super colorful foam sheets at my local craft store and after pondering for many weeks what I was going to make with my latest crafty purchase I settled on these easy shapes for a rather simple busy bag activity.
I tried to have a look on amazon for similar foams for you but I could only find these textured ones, which would be great for a sensory aspect. Patterned card stock would work just as well though.
Cut out a few shapes, you can grab my large shapes template here. I basically traced the shapes on the back of the foam in pen then cut.
Once you have all the shapes cut them up in the center to have 2 halves.
Make a bunch and put them in a busy bag or plastic ziploc.
I made 3 busy bags like this, one for each of my kids.
I then pulled it out the one afternoon while trying to start dinner to occupy them. SCORE!
Sort these by SHAPE or by PATTERN!
Packing up busy bags for my little ones are just as fun as unpacking and playing with the items! (How I wish this worked with the rest of their toys!)
Pin this fabulous fine motor busy bag for later!
