This week we have been playing with our foam puzzle mats, and balls, and cars!
Heidi sent me these awesome pics of her kids (4 & 3) playing cars inside a tunnel castle they made together. It looks like such fun! I love how her little girl looks like she is in a princess tower in one of the lower pics!
In our house we too had the foam mats out and built box blocks out of them. My 3 year old found some of the balls and started posting them into the holes.
This got my 4 year old going and he started stacking the boxes 3 high to watch how the balls fell all the way to the bottom.
I had to turn one of the blocks to allow a bigger hole for the balls to fall through.
We also tried our hand at bowling the balls in a tunnel made of the foam puzzle mats. To my surprise my 1 year old could fit into the tunnel but wasn’t really interested in crawling in it as much as she was deconstructing it.
How do you play with your foam mats?
