Play dough is a major part of a toddlers life. Not only is it an aid to some fine motor skills it also sparks the imagination.
As a mom who has recently taken on the mission of homeschooling I now have a new outlook on all things in the home and shops. How can we play and learn with this!
Learn how to make your own play dough! We have a no-cook playdough as well as our favorite homemade playdough recipe.
I saw these little plastic cocktail sticks in the shop last week and bought them. My 2 year old is a collector of all little similar shaped and colored things. He spent 20 minutes lining them up on the table while my 3 year old spent the next 40 minutes with the play dough, sticking the sticks in them and with my help making little animals.

Play dough is pretty much the greatest thing ever. My youngest is 9 and she can still sit for ever and play with it! I love the creativity that it encourages.
