A new year, a fresh start, a reset of our calendars, we reflect backward and then look forward with renewed goals and ambitions.
For me I see a great year ahead! I have so many “take action” plans which I will be sharing in my newsletters. (follow here)
But today, today I want to share a few things that have really caught my attention. Things that are going to make a difference in your life.
1. Gratitude
Take it upon yourself to get inspired by books like One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are and Thanks!: How Practicing Gratitude Can Make You Happier.
Write in a Gratitude Journal, I love this one as it has prompts through out the book. It reminds you to take the time to stop and notice things. We live our lives at such a fast pace that we often do not just stop, for example, to just watch our kids be kids.
2. One word
Pick a word to drive and be the corner stone for your new year. Empower yourself to BE. I loved this planning tool and free download.
3. Find a fulfilling hobby
Let the real you free, do what makes you happy. For me this is creating things and I do my utmost to make time to let myself create.
4. Do something different, just to try it.
I love the idea of Wreck This Journal it looks like so much fun. Do check out kittypinkstars album on Flickr for what she did with it!
5. Accountability
Join a group of like minded people for challenges such as a photo a day challenge or the 52 weeks worth of pics. The idea is to find someone to share your passion with. For once you share and return that enthusiasm with another it is easier to move forward.
Last year I wrote about making and breaking habits with new years resolutions and I mentioned starting a Pinterest board for your inspirations as well. These are still awesome ideas!

🙂 you post a picture a week that you think is inspiring and use a hashtag like #weeklypic or #52weeks. you might have to do some digging around on instagram for a nice hashtag.
