You can never have enough boxes during the holiday season. Whether you want to keep keepsakes safe, pack up treats, or give a gift, here is an easy way to create a keepsake box in a jiffy! The best part is, you probably have all the supplies you need already in your house. Here is how to get started.
Fun Upcycling Keepsake Project For Kids
Supplies needed:
-cardboard tube (toilet paper tubes are perfect)
– hot glue, glue gun
– craft paper of choice
– scissors

Lay the cardboard roll on the craft paper. Roll the cardboard in the craft paper and cut it to fit.
Once the paper is cut to fit the size of the roll, secure the loose end with hot glue. Allow to dry.
Fold down the edges of the roll as shown. Only do one side since you want to keep the other side open to place the treats in.
Secure the edge with hot glue and allow to dry.
Now comes the fun part, place special treats in the tube. You can actually fit quite a bit!
Fold and seal the alternate end just as you did with the first end.
Your box will now look tidy and cute! You can add additional ribbon or embellishments if you wish. These will tuck nicely into stockings or just make simple yet pretty gift containers.
