Lunchbox notes are a super simple way we can connect with our littles, even when they are at school. They’re away from home all day and sometimes that can be hard for kids. A note in their lunchbox is a way to recharge their strength to make it through the rest of the day. It is also so much fun. A simple surprise that they may look forward to all morning. If for no other reason, lunchbox notes are a fun way to add a smile to our child’s face. The weekly planner can also help take some stress out of lunch prep.
Lunchbox Notes For Kids
These lunchbox notes are super cute, colorful and fun. Each one has a different animal on it, like an elephant, lion or sheep. They have different backgrounds, colors and phrases too. Each phrase is positive and a simple reminder that we are thinking about our kids while they are at school.
You don’t need more than a printer and scissors to prep these lunchbox notes. Print the page out and cut them apart. I like to hide the ones I haven’t used yet, so they will for sure be a surprise for my kids.
You could take it one step further by writing a personalized note on the back or simply sign it.

Printable Weekly Lunch Planner
One thing that always makes my school mornings hectic is dealing with lunches. Are kids doing school lunch or sack? Do they want something warm in a thermos or something cold? Do they need a snack? If I don’t plan ahead, the lunch situation can almost break our morning. I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s true! That is why I love this weekly lunch planner so much!
I start my week planning off by checking the school lunch menu. My kids pick which days they would like to eat school lunch and I write that down. Next I make an inventory of my pantry. What do we already have that I can use for lunches? I will add those things to the daily plan section. Whatever days are not filled at this point, I will decide what we should do and put what is needed on the grocery list. I do involve my kids in this too.
There are also sections for meal prepping & notes. If some of the lunches can be prepped ahead of time, I will absolutely do that!
One extra tip, if you want to laminate this planner – you can use is over and over with dry erase markers.
