I love finding natural remedies to use in my home. The few I list below are simple enough to find in the garden or supermarket spice shelves.
5 Natural Remedies to Help your Baby!
Chamomile tea (pure not mixed with black tea) is great for soothing baby when teeth are looming. Clove oil diluted in a carrier oil is great for teething. Rub a bit on the sore gums and little one has relief for a few hours.
Calendula, commonly known as marigold, infused with olive oil works extremely well for cradle cap.
Coconut oil is a great moisturizer for dry skin – I had to oil my 3rd baby almost daily she was so dry. Using this as the base for baby massage is the best.
Fennel seeds steeped in hot water along with catnip leaves is great to help with gas related problems in a young baby. One or two sips does the trick or mom can have a nice minty / liquorice tasting tea if breastfeeding.
Amber teething necklaces work wonders! Need to know HOW amber works, check here.
I also refer to a lot of herbal and natural remedies in my ebook for colic. The Colic Solution by a Mom, for a Mom is 70% off for the duration of this event. Click here to apply the code:ULTIMATEBABY. (Now only $1!)
