The beginning of summer is on the horizon and you start trying to make bucket lists. You do a few activities with your kids and then the creativity starts to dwindle. Then kids start going stir crazy, they start whining of boredom and the quintessential chaos of summer ensues.
Then mom guilt sets in and you realize summer is half over and you haven’t done as much as you had hoped, but you’re fresh out of ideas. Does this sound familiar?
Well take a deep breath, sit back in your chair, grab a lemonade and put a smile on your face because I have the answer for you. I’ve created a super simple to use Summer Activity Calendar perfect for families.
This set includes two months worth of activities all bundled into one set. The kicker though, is that it’s not just the name of an activity, it’s a clickable link to each idea. When you click on the link it will take you to a full work up of the activity. This will include supply lists, instructions, benefits and how to extend the activity. All in one click.
Let this Summer Calendar save your summer just like it has saved ours!
Summer Calendar With Linked Activities
So Just How Easy Is It?
These calendars are incredibly simple to use.
First of all, there are no rules. If it’s the beginning of July and you want to do something in August – GO FOR IT!
If you click on one activity and think it would be better planned on a different day, no big deal!
You can use this calendar consecutively every day, or skip a few days and do the activities a couple times a week.
The only rule is… HAVE FUN!
There are 68 activities total. Each of these activities are linked to an individual post with instructions, examples, pictures, supplies, and more for each post. We’ve spelled it out completely for each of the 68 activities. How amazing is that?
So first you go to the calendar of choice. When you find one that sparks your interest for the day, click on it.
After you click on it, you’ll be taken to the post that explains everything. For example, this is what the post starts out for the Make An ABC Photo Book Of Your Summer post.
This is also helpful to show your children what the activity is, so they can help make the decision too.
What Types Of Activities?
We have included all sorts of activities. This is beneficial for children who have short attention spans, children who may lean towards one type of activity versus another or children who love all sorts of activities.
Some of the types of activities that we have included are:
Literacy
Math
Art
Sensory
Science
..More!
These Summer Calendars are not only filled with fun and engaging activities that will keep your children entertained this summer but will help keep you sane this summer too!
