Does your preschooler like engaging, colorful activities? Do you like helping your little one learn new skills? This Let’s Count Preschool Worksheets will help your little learner identify similarities, count and write numbers.
Let’s Count Preschool Worksheets
This printable activity set is much like an I Spy activity. Each page has a different theme, including flowers, sweets, toys, insects and shapes. All pages are filled with colorful images to help children stay engaged, while strengthening skills.
Each page has 5 different objects to identify. There is a key that shows the objects that they should look for and then a box to write how many of those objects are on the page. This is a simple activity, that even early learners can accomplish, but grand enough that more advanced children can still gain benefits.
Prepping This Preschool Counting Activity
Prepping this is incredibly simple. You can literally print, cut and play. Grab a writing utensil and get counting.
An alternate option is to print and laminate. This is especially helpful if you are using this preschool counting activity in a classroom or with multiple children. If you choose to laminate, you can use dry erase markers instead of crayons.
These Heart Counting Cards are fun too!
This preschool counting activity also has some other variations. You can explain how to do this activity in a few different ways.
You can start with one object, we’ll use the insect page above for an example. Children can start with one object, like the ladybug, and count each lady bug then write that number in a box. You could also start in one corner and move across, then down, and use tally marks in each box. This is a fabulous way to help children understand tally marks!
