This one was super simple for Harvey and he just tossed them all on one handed and very quickly.
I love the idea of just grabbing the paper towel holder though, and you could easily make this into a much more challenging game by turning into a ring toss. For younger one year olds it will be more challenging and engaging to simply take them on and off.
Materials:
- Kitchen Towel Holder
- Cardboard tubes
Cut the cardboard tube into strips. Give the activity to your child. Most children will get that the items go onto the kitchen towel holder if not show them and they soon pick it up.
Repurposing and reusing!
This idea isn’t JUST for 1 year olds!
There are 40 more activities in the book and ALL include an activity variation AND “As They Grow” section, making this a Grow-With-Them book.
Activities are suited to 1, 2, 3 and even 4 year olds!
You’ll really get your money’s worth!
