I just LOVE this rather simple ice play adventure!
Firstly grab some ice trays, we used these, add a drop or two of food coloring a dash of glitter then the water and freeze overnight.
The next day you are ready for some ice play!
Empty the glitter ice logs out on a tray for some inspecting by the kids. Listen to the ooh and ahhs coming from the children over the pretty ice play invite before them.
Let them play!
A little side note: I also had a kitchen towel available to hand drying next to the tray.
My just turned 5 year old built this awesome log tower. Ice play in general is a very captivating activity for young ones and especially when it is the hot summer months!
