For today’s post and to wrap up this awesome series I just wanted to have a little chat, cake anyone?
A little about me if you are a first time visitor.
I have 3 children, currently ages 5, 3 and 2 years old. I am also pregnant with #4 due in late October. Can you tell I need a nap?
My blog may portray that I am a busy body, doing all sorts of things with the kids, this is not so very much true. You see this blog is almost 2 years old and as such has over 2 years worth of activities, ideas, advice and play ideas. I on average share one maybe 2 ideas a week. Between 3 kids and their various interests I think this is a good coverage for me.
My point? Take every day as it comes. Don’t feel pressured to do activities EVERY day. Remember that free play and imagination are just as important as structured play. Just by having your child near you, you are imparting everyday life skills.
I hope you enjoyed this series and I leave you with this final picture. I wasn’t even mad at him. He’s my little artist, although I do encourage paper over my floor and walls!

Great ideas. At least your child colored on the tile where it is easy to clean up instead of on the wall.

I like to do “prepared” activities with my kids but I certainly can’t do them everyday. Now that I have discovered your blog, I will try some of your ideas with my 5 years old and my 2 years old. I will tell you if it was a success… or if Mom failed miserably. 😉
