A Felt Craft For Kids: DIY Tic Tac Toe
Here is what you will need:
4 different colors of felt, full sheets work best
scissors
craft glue
That’s it! You are just three supplies away from making your very own felt tic tac toe game for kids. With so many color combo options, you can make one that is unique to your child and they are sure to enjoy.
Begin by creating the board. A square with 4 even sides works best. Try creating a 4×4 inch square or 8×8 inch square if you desire something bigger.Taking an alternate color of felt, cut out thin strips that will be used to create your board. You will need four of these strips altogether.
Apply some glue to the back of each strip and arrange them on the felt board in the criss cross shape. You want them evenly spaced so you have 9 even squares to place your markers in.
Now, create the markers. You can create x’s, o’s, hearts, stars, or whatever shapes you wish. You will need to make two sets, each different from the other. Create 6 of each shape so you have enough.
Once your felt strips are dry, you can start playing. Use your felt shapes to play the game and try to make a row of three. When you are done, you can simply place the pieces in a plastic baggie to store for later.
Kids love a game of skill. Give this easy felt tic tac toe craft a try!
