Making a felt pouch is an extremely simple affair. One that is completely no sew which makes this a huge plus in my eyes!
Gather some variety colors of felt and matching ribbons for your project.
Use a bowl as your template for your circles. Draw a black line around the bowl onto the felt to make your first template. Cute it out and now use that 1st felt circle as the template for all other felt circles you cut.
Next measure a ribbon around your circle to make a perfect match.
Snip little slits around the circle in even spacings. The closer you make the spaces the more ribbon you will need.
Poke the ribbon through the snips until it is completed around. Make sure to have the ribbon exit on the sample hole for neat closing of the pouch.
Making an extra snip to ensure this happens isn’t a big deal.
draw your pouch closed with a nice little know and bow.
I have used mine in an advent calendar I made for the kids below. So many pretty colors!
