R is for Rose Letter of the Week R Craft
You will most likely have all of these supplies in your home or classroom but if not they are easy to find.
letter R printable
silk roses
scissors
craft glue
crayons or colored pencils
This activity is not only great for learning the letter R but there are other skills that can be strengthened as well.
Start by coloring the letter of the week R with your crayons or colored pencils. Next, practice scissor skills by cutting out the letter.
If your roses have stems, cut off the stems.
Add some glue to the back of the roses and start attaching them to the letter. Be generous with your glue. Press firmly. The number of roses you add is completely up to you.
We added roses until the top and bottom of the letter were covered.
Use a green crayon or pencil to create vines and greenery, if you would like.
Once the pieces are dry your R is for roses craft is ready to be displayed!
