We have a lot of Melissa and Doug toys in our house, I just love the wooden feel and guess what!
They are available in Ecuador at our local toy store. Today I wanted to share with you a quick little pretend play scene we did with our wooden train!
We took a few shiny pipe cleaners and made trees and pretended the blocks on the last carts where boxes of ornaments! Then the train was driven around to off load and load up at the station.
My 1 year old thought the pipe cleaners were fabulous and enjoyed sticking them into the holes. This of course was after her nap, as our first try she was more like godzilla destroying the buildings my 4 year old had made!

We have that train and I need to go get sparkling pipe cleaners now!! That looks super fun and I know that it would certainly be a hit. Thanks for the great ideas.
