I Spy Counting printable preschool math activities
This food activities page is similar to an I Spy game if you have used those before. There are various food pictures spread out randomly on the page. Children will need to find and count the images. So for instance, the sundaes. If children count 10, they will write 10 down on the square below the image. This is a fabulous activity to practice counting, number recognition, and 1:1 correspondence.
Count and Trace Printable Preschool Math Activities
Children will color the images, then trace the number. The numbers are in bubble letter form with dotted lines inside. Children will trace the dotted line and even color the number if they would like. Tracing is one way to help children practice writing numbers. This is called prewriting. Prewriting is important to help children gain the muscle strength, skills, and confidence to be able to write on their own. This is also very helpful for letter recognition and formation.
Cut & Paste Printable Preschool Math Activities
Children will cut out the squares that have one number in each. Then on the pages that follow there are objects in a box. Children will count the objects, then paste the correct number in the space next to the row. This is fabulous for fine motor strength, as well as counting and learning how to use glue correctly.
