I am very excited to be joining a group of awesome ladies to bring you one recycled material idea per month this year!
We kick off Project: Recycle & Create with cardboard boxes. For our little activity I have decided to share something rather simple that brings hours of pretend play to my 4 year old. A little cardboard mobile phone!
To make you will need a bit of flat cardboard, a marker and a scissors to cut.
Make a fold in your cardboard and draw the shape of the phone, then cut out. We made a matching pair.
Fold along the fold and trim the bits that stick over so that the phone will fold nicely together.
Draw numbers and other phone looking decor on the cardboard phone, then go have some pretend play fun!
I received a lot of messages and phone calls during the day we made this, a certain little boy enjoyed phoning his mommy, brother and sister. <3
