This months recycle theme is all about paper!
Our craft for today is a rather simple one as well and can be given to grandparents, parents or aunts. Who ever you feel like really!
We started off by punching some shapes in old wrapping paper, this activity is a favorite of my 5 year old.
I was thinking hearts for this project but the kids love to stamp all sorts of things so I just let them at it! They unpacked my entire punch collection.
Next I printed custom cards for the kids to stick these shapes on. You can download them below. I made 3 versions.
I added glue in the heart and the kids stuck what they liked.
This is also a rather good fine motor activity for the younger kids.
My 4 year old made a card full and my 5 year old just stuck a few cars and people. Each card is made with its own uniqueness. We are going to mail these to the grandparents very soon. On the inside of these cards the kids also did some drawings.
Pin this idea for later!
