Wow. I’m so easily distracted! I’ve been trying to write a post ALL day! I had a few Facebook likes over night from some lovely crafters and spent about 2 hours returning the likes and oogling their wonderful goods! I even got inspired to write a post, which I have added to my ever growing list of “I so want to do this”!
Oops, there it was again! I went to grab the pic for this post and its 2 hours later!
Today and yesterday was very full! Last night we put the boys in their new beds, I fully expected to be up a few times last night having to put grumpy kids back into beds or them simply falling out (even though the beds have rails).
I slept like a log.
Little Miss woke me at 12:45am and 4:30am for feeds and I checked on the boys, fast asleep and still in bed! Today my 2 year old was playing all happily on his bed and “reading” beauty and the beast. I really can’t express how pleased I am that they love their new beds! (That bare window is on my to do list for this weekend!)
This afternoon I got a few moments to put my gardening gloves on and go pull the mass of weeds out in the new beds that were sewn with seeds just 2 weeks ago. I was delighted to find that the chickens had not eaten all the lettuce seedlings but I cant say the same for the bed I planted flower seeds in, they have used it for their “dust bathes”. Poor poor flowers.
I’m now eying the area outside of the front gate for some pretty flowers and wondering how many of the people that seem to like to walk this remote path will be taking their tourist pictures of my day dreamed front flower paradise. Mmmm…
I must add that I discovered a few plants I did NOT plant among the weeds. A butternut plant, succulent type flower, 3 tomato plants and a parsley sprig.
And its now pouring with raining. Must be all the weeding I did! 😀
