You won’t need much to prep this book either. After you print, you can connect the pages together but that is about it. Grab crayons and let your kiddos get working.

Each page of this easy reader printable will help children understand the concept of synonyms. There is an underlined synonym there are synonym options at the bottom of the page to choose from.
Children can not only color the pictures of the story, but they also circle the synonyms that they find when they are reading.
If you are in the classroom, another option is to print and then laminate. Children can circle the synonyms with a dry erase marker as they read it. You could color the pictures before or leave them black and white.
