The pretend play list is rather hard to write as basically anything can be used for pretend play. For example our Melissa and Doug wooden train set we did a little pretend play with this weekend.
I would love to share a few things that I love. Enjoy!
I very much love this Carpenter Set, even though it says 3+ I am sure 2+ would love it just as much. I too want a Workbench!
Pretend kitchens are just awesome in my view, pair this with some pretend fruit and vegetables from the farms market and you are all set to go. My 4 year old also loves a portable selection for a tea party 🙂
There is also dressing up in character clothing such as Toy Story’s Woody and Buzz or maybe a Disney princess.
I love the puppets, It is going to be one of the things I want to add to our homeschooling in the next year. The animals finger puppets and the family puppets are already on my list.
Classic play with toy cars and even baby dolls is always fun and we can create so many play scenes. Let’s not forget the trains!
Plastic animals paired with books and activities to explore are always a hit with my boys. We have even taken the plastic dinosaurs into the play dough. But for dinosaurs our favorite is Dinosaur mountain!
Last but not least on our list of awesome pretend play is a tent!
