I originally made this in a fall collage wall hanging that could also be used for a sun catcher if you had a window that had nothing more than a still breeze. As fall is past I wanted to replace it with something more long lasting.
Then my rather clever husband suggested I put hand prints there. So I did!
One pretty hand print wall hanging!
I am not going to go over all the details again on how to iron the crayons so they melt onto the wax paper and using the fishing line / nylon for the frame. You can see those in detail over at my fall wall hanging post. 😀
But I am going to give you mass pictures of the cuteness of hands!
My 18 month old was fascinated by the hand tracing, I must say I got some nice prints!
The 3 year old was a mission! He kept moving his fingers. My 4 year old just couldn’t wait for his turn and wanted me to draw the entire paper full of his prints.
Here are our 3 ages of hand prints. I made 4 for each child and tried to color code them as much as I could.
Next I took off the circles from fall collage, which was very easy as paper and sellotape part rather nicely.
Apply some new tape and stick the hands on from smaller at the top to bigger at the bottom.
These would make great gifts for grandparents who live far away as postage of some hand prints would be super cheap compared to say a clay pressed hand.

So beautiful! I would love to make this wall hanging to put up in the playroom. Thanks so much for sharing at Mom’s Library!
