I love the brilliant simplicity of this idea, as toddlers love lift the flap books but often end up ripping the flaps off. We had tons of fun doing this with an animal book and practicing animal names.
Materials
- Picture board book
- Post-it
Add new life to your child’s favorite picture book. Place post-its over the images and play peek a boo with them!
Older kids love it too and can even place flaps for the younger ones and look at the books with them. Great for trips when you can only take a few books with you!
This idea isn’t JUST for 1 year olds!
There are 40 more activities in the book and ALL include an activity variation AND “As They Grow” section, making this a Grow-With-Them book.
Activities are suited to 1, 2, 3 and even 4 year olds!
You’ll really get your money’s worth!
